Simply DK is a great basic DK yarn that is both sturdy and soft. Simply DK is a 4-ply yarn which makes it nice and round. It has great stitch definition and knits the most beautiful cables. The nylon gives it strength but best of all, it is still a comfortable yarn because of the soft Merino wool. One skein would make a warm squishy hat. It is also the perfect yarn for sweaters. I made my 1-year-old grandson a cabled sweater for his birthday. It’s nice for children because it is machine washable, too.
Our variegated colors are hand-painted in small batches. We use a random dye process that creates a yarn that is unlikely to pool or stripe. What you see in the skein is very much how the colors will blend in your finished fabric.
Simply DK can be gently machine washed and dried, but we still recommend hand washing in warm water and laying flat to dry to ensure the best care for your project.
Amethyst is part of our Birthstone series and will only be dyed in February. Once it is gone we won’t be dyeing it again until next year.

Returns
The stock market is always changing. It is not managed entirely by us since we have multiple parties such as the factory and the storage. The stock levels may fluctuate at any moment. Please understand it may happen that your order may be out of stock when your order has been made.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If it's been more 30 days since the date you purchased your item and we're unable to offer you a full exchange or refund.
The item must not be in use and must be in its original condition. It must also still be in its original packaging.
